The sign said “This door to remain closed at all times.” Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t that defeat the purpose of a door? ~ Danny McCrossan (Irish comedian)

Thank you. Nice work.
Toni,
Just wanted to say that I appreciate your articles–the martial arts can’t all be about taking an opponent out in two seconds–it must be deeper, the warrior/scholar paradigm you and Master Tan stress. Ultimately one hopes to develop into a better human being–not by being the next MMA champ, but by training and discipline discovering the physical–and mental and emotional aspects that constitute a complete person.
Thank you very much. We are big fans of all things Bob Ellal.
Thanks, I’m humble. Now that I’ve demonstrated my humility, please spread the word about what a hell-of-a-guy I am to your hot 45-year-old woman friends. I’m not a materialist–they don’t have to be independently wealthy. Just have a good job, or a job, or be willing to work. What will they get? A romantic, tortured and starving writer. I see a “win-win!”
: )
I’ve changed my parameters: those hot middle-aged women must be also independently wealthy. I need a patron so I can develop a new form of meditation: “hammock qigong.” All one has to do is lay in a hammock near a beach and breathe deeply between sips of a Mai-Tai. I think it will be a sensation among Americans as one traverses the path to self-realization without having to expend any effort. My books and DVDs will fly off the shelves and my seminars will be packed. It’s great to be a man of “vision!”
Hammock Qigong. Sounds catchy…”breathe deeply between sips”
