Battle IRS Stress

No matter how fierce a martial artist you are – and the same for everyone else whoever you are or whatever you do – if you live in the states, you still have to face the IRS. Are you fighting to finish up those tax forms before midnight tonight? Is your brain assaulted by numbers, dates and figures? Gathering receipts and preparing those 1040s is a daunting battle. There is some help, well, with managing the stress.

Did you know that if you eliminate the self defense content, the movements and breathing of a form or kata are powerful tools for combating stress?
If you need respite from today’s tension and anxiety join us on our wellness or martial art video and just follow along for a few minutes. Try our Universal Form or follow this week’s tiger moves. Relax and energize.

Now, of course, it will not change tonight’s deadline but doing a short breathing exercise may revitalize and clear your mind to help eliminate excess stress. Give it a try. It works. Follow us all month long: something new to help you de-stress every day!

Once learned and done properly this is one of the quickest and most effective ways to reduce stress. If you haven’t tried the Universal Form you absolutely must.

Thank you Sifu Lloyd! How are your students doing with the Universal Form?

They are doing very well. It is a process but they continue to improve each class. The physical aspects look great the internal aspects are, for most, the most challenging.
